Warranty Coverage

Tiace Furniture Private Limited (“Tiace”) warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions.

  • The warranty is valid from the date of final invoice or installation, whichever is applicable.
  • This warranty applies only to the original end user and is non-transferable.
  • “End User” refers to the final purchaser acquiring Tiace products for internal use and not for resale, redistribution, or commercial remarketing.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear associated with regular use
  • Damage resulting from accidents, improper handling, or impact
  • Acts of God, including but not limited to floods, earthquakes, fire, or other natural calamities
  • Natural variations in colour, grain, texture, or finish in materials such as wood, veneer, fabric, leather, and laminates
  • Natural aging or patina development in materials over time
  • Dye lot variations or colour transfer from clothing or external materials
  • Minor cosmetic changes that do not affect product performance
  • Damage caused by the use of harsh chemicals, solvents, or non-recommended cleaning agents

Care & Usage Guidelines

To ensure longevity and optimal performance, we recommend the following:

Do’s

  • Use cleaning agents recommended for office furniture surfaces
  • Use accessories strictly for their intended purpose
  • Handle glass, metal, and moving components with care
  • Ensure servicing, dismantling, or reinstallation is carried out by authorised Tiace personnel
  • Use appropriate accessories for magnetic or writable surfaces, where applicable
Don’ts

  • Do not drag sharp or metallic objects across work surfaces
  • Do not sit or stand on worktops or furniture not designed for load bearing
  • Do not attempt to move partitions or modular systems without professional assistance
  • Do not use strong solvents such as thinner, petrol, or spirit for cleaning
  • Avoid spilling liquids on furniture, electrical components, or partitions
  • Avoid any form of physical abuse or misuse of furniture

Limitation of Liability

Tiace shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of business, revenue, or productivity
  • Damage caused by improper use or unauthorised intervention

Conditions of Warranty

A product will not be considered defective, and Tiace shall not be responsible for repair or replacement, if:

  1. The product has not been installed, used, or maintained in accordance with Tiace’s written specifications, care, and usage guidelines.
  2. The product has been subjected to misuse, abuse, negligence, or unauthorised modification.
  3. The product has been relocated, dismantled, or altered by personnel not authorised by Tiace.
  4. The product is used in an environment other than the one specified in the original billing or project documentation.
At all times, the product must be installed in a dry, enclosed, and protected indoor environment, free from exposure to weather, moisture, or extreme conditions.

Product-Specific Warranty Terms

Warranty duration may vary based on product category or product family.

  • Warranty terms applicable to specific products will be mentioned in the relevant product documentation, proposal, or invoice.
  • In the absence of specific mention, standard warranty terms shall apply as per Tiace policy.

Warranty Resolution

At Tiace’s discretion, warranty claims may be resolved through:

  • Repair of the defective component, or
  • Replacement of the defective part or product, or
  • Any other solution deemed appropriate based on the nature of the defect
Tiace’s liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product or component.
